The Last Ride… Sorta

Hits: 8

Stopped at the Port Mayaka Locks on Lake Okeechobee.

The 360Bikers (sometimes known at 360Riders) that I started in 2008 is still riding. They are some of my best friends and have shared so many great memories. Last week I rode to Palm Beach County to visit my accountant for taxes and especially to ride with my friends on Saturday for one last time in Florida. Since moving to Tennessee, it can no longer be a regular occurrence. The next time I’m riding in Florida may be to start the SCMA Four Corners Tour in 2020.

It was great to see those that could make it. I brought gifts down for those that showed up. Unfortunately, weather had me reschedule the original date and this conflicted with the start of Bike Week in Daytona. Some riders were attending that ride. I’ll have the video of this ride done in a few days.

To me, this is a threshold of life that I am passing through. I will miss riding with the group often. I will miss planning local and statewide rides. I will miss my friends.
